WIRE / DOCS

Your guide to Wire.

Follow the people. Understand the activity. Learn how to use Wire and read what it shows you.

Get started

A simple first session in Wire.

Wire helps you discover tokens through trader activity. It brings profiles, confirmed trades, market data, and signals into one place. You do not need to connect a wallet to browse, and following someone does not place trades.

  1. Sign in to the app.

Use Log in to open app.wire.fun and enter your existing Wire credentials. Your follows and saved tokens belong to your account.

  2. Find someone to follow.

Open Traders, search a name, and inspect the profile. Tap Follow to add that trader to your list. Wallet checks happen automatically; a newly followed trader may show a pending check before confirmed activity is available.

  3. Explore what they are trading.

Open Following for their captured swaps, or use My traders on Tokens to narrow token discovery to their recent activity.

  4. Go from a token to the evidence.

Open the token name for its overview. Open its Signal badge for that signal’s score and supporting activity. Use the star to save the token for later.

Open the app

Explore Tokens

Choose a view, a time window, and the activity you care about.

For now, Tokens and Signals show only tokens with verified graduation: Bonded or Migrated status. Tokens still bonding, or whose graduation is unknown, stay hidden until completion is verified. This applies to Active, New, Saved, and the signal queue. Graduation describes launch progress, not token safety.

Saved tokens remain on your account even while hidden. Direct token links, exact contract-address lookups, and captured trade history remain available. A token becomes eligible for discovery automatically once its graduation is verified.

Active
Tokens with a captured, confirmed buy or sell by a monitored trader in your selected window. A fresh price quote or an old pool does not qualify on its own. Transfers and small swaps do not qualify.
Signals
The signal queue, ranked by score. Filter by state or minimum score. Turn on Include inactive to view older signals that are no longer active.
New
Graduated tokens with pools observed by Wire and a pool creation time in the past 24 hours. This is sampled discovery, not a complete list of every token launch or recent graduation.
Saved
Your personal list, currently displaying tokens whose graduation is verified. Tap a star on a card or token page to save or remove a token. Hidden saves stay on your account. Saving a token does not buy it or follow its holders.
5m · 1h · 6h · 24h
The board’s activity window. It controls recent buyer/seller counts, net flow, the price-change column, and which tokens qualify for Active. The volume column still covers 24 hours.
My traders
Only tokens with qualifying activity from people you follow during the selected window. A token can disappear when their activity falls outside that window, even if you still have it saved.
Filters & ordering
Narrow by chain, launchpad, pool age, liquidity, or market cap, and choose a sort. Buying activity ranks captured buying activity rather than expected profit. Missing values do not pass numeric filters.
Explore tokens

Read a token page

Connect price, activity, holders, and the token’s identity.

Contract address (CA)
The token’s identifier on its chain. Use the copy button beside it. It is also available near the top of a signal detail page. Check both the chain and address when opening the token elsewhere.
What’s happening
A summary of captured trader activity over the last 15 minutes, with buying, selling, market context, and available checks. This window is separate from the board’s selected interval and the chart range.
Who traded & data checks
Expand this section to see the participants and the evidence behind the summary, including observed risks and missing or stale checks.
Recent trades
Captured token activity. Following narrows it to your people. A confirmed swap, an unconfirmed report, and a token transfer are different kinds of evidence; their labels tell you which you are seeing.
Holders
Tracked holders and the latest available balances, not necessarily every wallet holding the token. Supply percentages marked ≈ are estimates. Check the snapshot time; a balance may include received tokens, not just purchases.
Chart & price change
The chart shows price history over its selected range. The board’s percentage is the change for its labeled interval. These can use different windows, and the chart’s update time can differ from the latest quote.
Pool / First detected
Pool age describes an observed trading pool. First detected is when Wire first captured the token. Neither necessarily identifies when the token itself was created.
Launchpad & lifecycle
A launchpad label identifies verified launch origin. Bonding means a token is still on its launch curve; Bonded indicates completion, while Migrated means a move to the next trading pool or venue is verified. Routine Migrated badges are hidden on discovery cards but may appear in token details. No badge can simply mean the status is unknown.
DEX / Explorer
External links to market information or the chain explorer. Source and platform logos identify provenance, not a guarantee about the token or where every trade took place.

Understand trader profiles

Separate measured entry timing from reported profit.

Entry timing (alpha)
A 0–100 score based on observed price performance after a trader’s entries. It measures captured timing history, not their account balance or a promise of future returns.
Confidence
The percentage beside the timing score describes how much evidence supports the estimate. It is not a win rate or a probability that the next trade will be profitable.
Measured entries
The number of entries contributing to the measurement. Read the sample count alongside the score; a small sample gives a narrower picture of a trader’s history.
A blank timing score
Wire does not yet have an available timing measurement. There may be too little qualifying trade history or price history to evaluate it. It does not mean the trader has never traded or that their score is zero.
Reported PnL 7d
Seven-day profit and loss reported by the source platform when available. It is separate from Wire’s entry-timing measurement and from what you would have earned by following. Sources do not all provide the same PnL coverage; a dash means unavailable, not zero.
Recent activity & Holdings
Recent activity groups repeated actions for a token within five-minute buckets and shows the movement count. Holdings are the latest available snapshot. Show more reveals additional loaded activity; Track record opens longer history and measurements.
Platform name, photo & X link
The trader’s displayed identity comes from their platform profile. An X icon opens an account link supported by verified source evidence; a matching username alone is not enough. Missing artwork or a missing X icon is a coverage gap, not an assessment of the trader.
Wallets
Accepted wallet matches with chain icons, copy buttons, and explorer links. The last-match time describes the match check, not the time of the trader’s last trade. Pending checks update automatically.

Make Following your own

Follow people once, then read their confirmed activity in one feed.

Follow / Following
Tap Follow on a trader to add them to your personal list. Tap Following to unfollow. This is monitoring; it never places an order or copies a trade for you.
Following → Activity
Confirmed swaps captured from the people you follow, newest first. Use Show more to load additional available rows. Gifts, transfers, unconfirmed reports, and small swaps are excluded from this feed.
Following → Traders
Manage your followed people and find others to add. Your list is tied to your signed-in account, as are your saved tokens and bell choices.
The alerts bell
Marks a followed trader for the Alerts only filter inside Following. It does not turn on browser push, email, Telegram, or automatic trading.
Pending wallet checks
A new follow may need a wallet match before Wire can show confirmed activity. Checks run automatically. An empty feed can also mean no qualifying swaps were captured for your selected people.

Read signals & their states

A signal explains a pattern in captured trading activity.

Go to Tokens → Signals, or tap a token’s Signal badge. The queue currently shows only tokens with verified graduation, including when Include inactive is on. Direct links to earlier signals still work. The token name opens its overview; the signal badge opens the exact signal. On the detail page, read the reason, participants, timing, score, and supporting checks together.

The signal score runs from 0 to 100. It combines trader timing, independent buying, how far the token has moved since captured entries, relative position size, flow, holders, and risk evidence. A score of 80 is not an 80% chance of profit.

SCOUT
A trader with qualifying measured timing opened a position. It is an early observation, before a broader buying cluster has formed.
CLUSTER
Enough independent buying activity has gathered around one token within a window. Buyers with known relationships or a history of moving together can count less toward independence, so three named buyers may count as fewer than three independent buyers.
CONFIRMED
The cluster has reached a stronger score with additional flow and risk context available. This is a signal state; it is different from an individual swap being confirmed on-chain.
HOT
The signal meets the stronger score and independent-buyer criteria. It describes the observed setup, not a guarantee that price will keep rising.
RISK
Observed evidence has triggered a warning, such as developer selling, significant trader exits, reversing flow, worsening holder concentration, or falling liquidity. Open the signal to read the actual reason.
EXIT
Selling by qualifying tracked traders has triggered an exit state for the signal. It is not an instruction to sell, and it does not mean every holder has sold. An EXIT on a single trade row has a separate meaning, explained below.
Active / Inactive / Closed
Active means the signal is still being tracked, including signals in RISK or EXIT states. Inactive or closed signals are historical. Use Include inactive in the queue to see them.

Decode trade labels

What each action says about the captured trade and remaining position.

BOUGHT
A confirmed buy recorded as an opening position in Wire’s captured history. It is not proof that the trader never owned the token before tracking began.
ADDED
A confirmed buy adding to an existing position in the captured history.
REDUCED
A confirmed sale with verified tokens remaining afterward. The trader sold part of the position.
EXIT
A confirmed sale with the checked remaining token balance at zero or effectively zero. This describes the captured position, not every wallet the trader might own.
SOLD
The sale is confirmed, but the remaining balance is not established well enough to call it REDUCED or EXIT. It does not imply a full exit.
Received / Sent tokens
A transfer into or out of a wallet. Transfers can be gifts, airdrops, or wallet movements; they are not automatically purchases or sales.
Small swap
A confirmed swap below the meaningful-activity threshold. It can appear in detailed activity but does not contribute to the main buying signals or Following feed.
Reported / Unconfirmed
Information that has not been established as an attributed on-chain swap. It remains separate from confirmed buying and selling.

Understand the numbers

A quick glossary for token cards, profiles, and signal details.

Market cap
The available estimate of the token’s circulating-supply value. It is different from liquidity and from fully diluted value. A missing estimate is left blank.
Liquidity
Available liquidity reported for the selected trading pool. It is not a guaranteed amount you could sell at the displayed price.
24h volume
Reported trading volume over the last 24 hours, not only trades captured from Wire’s tracked people. It stays on a 24-hour basis when you change the board interval.
Buyers / Sellers
Distinct tracked traders with captured qualifying activity in the displayed window, not all market participants. A person can appear on both sides if they bought and sold in that window.
Net flow
Known dollars bought minus known dollars sold in the window. Positive is net buying; negative is net selling. It is not PnL. Partial means some trades lack a reliable dollar size.
Price change
The percentage price movement over the labeled interval. A dash is unavailable data, not 0%. An asterisk on a board change marks an older observation; check its quote time.
Captured average entry
An average based on the captured, priced buys in the displayed analysis. The comparison shows price movement from those entries, not an individual trader’s complete cost basis or realized profit.
Relative conviction
A trade’s size relative to the trader’s available portfolio estimate. It depends on how current and complete that portfolio information is.
Earlyness / Displacement
How near the observed activity is to the first tracked entry in time and price. Displacement measures the price move since that entry. First tracked entry is not necessarily the token’s first-ever buy.
Return after entry / Markout
The price change measured a set time after a captured trade. It describes what price did afterward, not an executed copy trade or your achievable return after costs.
K / M / B and ≈
K means thousand, M million, and B billion. The ≈ symbol means approximate; for example, an estimated share of token supply.

Read warnings & missing data

Distinguish an observed risk from a gap in what is known.

Capture delayed / Chain capture delayed
Recent trade capture may be behind or incomplete. Counts, activity, and signals can miss recent actions. API connected only means the app can reach its data service; it does not establish that trade capture is current.
Quote age / Stale quote
The market observation is older than the current display. Its original timestamp stays visible. A newly calculated signal does not refresh that price.
Price unverified
Wire cannot currently accept a reliable price from the available pool evidence. An older accepted quote may remain visible with its timestamp; the unchecked price is not treated as fresh confirmation.
Checks incomplete
One or more checks are missing or stale. This is a data gap, not proof that the token is dangerous or safe.
Risk flagged
An observed condition deserves attention. Read the specific explanation, such as a recent buyer selling or thin liquidity. It is different from a check simply being unavailable.
Buying building
The captured buying pattern and available checks meet the summary’s criteria. It describes the observed activity; it is not an instruction to buy.
USDC route check
A read-only quote check for a sample USDC buy and return sale. Stale or unavailable means there is no usable current result. A quote does not execute a trade or guarantee the fill you would receive.
Chart refresh pending
Fresh chart candles are not ready yet. Saved price information may still be shown. The chart and quote can have different update times.
A dash, blank, or missing photo
The value or artwork is unavailable. Do not read it as zero, a full exit, or a judgment about a trader. Price, liquidity, PnL, photos, and social links each depend on their own available evidence.

Keep the evidence in view.
